Heated socks wrap the whole foot, so the warmth surrounds your toes rather than sitting under them. They're usually cheaper, and if your feet get cold all over rather than just underneath, they're the more complete answer.

Which should you get?

If you're skiing, hunting, or wearing gloves: get a remote or app. If your boots are low and easy to reach into, a button is perfectly fine and saves you money.
