Cooling Products for Heat Relief

Everything that pulls heat off your body — cooling vests, towels, neck wraps, hats and personal fans. For the job site, the course, the ride, and the medical conditions that make heat genuinely dangerous rather than just unpleasant.

FAQs

Which type of cooling product should I choose?

Start with humidity, because it decides everything. In dry heat, evaporative gear is superb and costs almost nothing — it soaks in water and cools as it dries. In humid heat, that same gear barely works, because the air is already too saturated for evaporation. Humid environments need phase change packs, ice-based cooling, or circulatory systems, all of which cool without relying on evaporation.

Do cooling products prevent heat stroke?

They help you stay ahead of heat stress, but they don't treat heat illness once it's underway. Confusion, stopping sweating, a racing pulse, or nausea in the heat are medical emergencies — get out of the heat and get help. Cooling gear is a preventive tool for people working or exercising in conditions where their own sweating can't keep up. Know the warning signs.
