How we started
FROM MALL KIOSKS TO THE EXPERTS IN HEATED CLOTHING
The Warming Store began in 2012 with a simple idea: help people stay warmer and enjoy the outdoors, no matter how cold it gets.
Our story started at mall kiosks, where we sold fleece hats, balaclavas, and other cold-weather accessories. Customers frequently asked where they could purchase our products after the kiosks closed, which inspired us to launch TheWarmingStore.com.
Gerbing was one of the first brands we carried and introduced us to the growing world of heated clothing. From there, we began expanding into heated jackets, vests, gloves, socks, insoles, hand warmers, blankets, and other innovative warming products.
Over time, heated clothing became our specialty. What started as a small family business grew into one of the largest online selections of heated apparel and cold-weather gear.
Today, we continue to help outdoor workers, motorcycle riders, hunters, athletes, travelers, and everyday customers find the right products to stay warm and comfortable.
