FAQs
Why does cooling your neck work so well?
Major blood vessels run close to the surface at your neck — so you're not just cooling skin, you're cooling the blood passing underneath it, which then carries that coolness through the rest of your body. It's the most efficient cooling per square inch you can do, which is why a cold cloth on the back of the neck feels so disproportionately good.
Is a neck cooler enough on its own?
For short exposures and moderate heat, often. For a full day in real heat, no — a cooling vest is doing the structural work, because your torso carries far more blood volume than your neck does. Think of the neck cooler as the cheap, high-return addition on top of a vest rather than a replacement for one.
