The ZANIER Heat Technology is based on highly developed textile heat elements and a unique electronic control system. The robust lithium ion batteries which weigh just 60 g provide heat at three different levels for up to 10 hours. They are concealed in the extra long AVIATOR.GTX cuff and you can hardly feel them. The supplied USB charger unit recharges the batteries overnight. The gloves' heating system is robust and even withstands hard knocks. The model can also be used without heating. Straps and Velcro fasteners were deliberately not used making them ideal for flying at extreme heights. The PrimaLoft insulation incorporated into the AVIATOR.GTX, the GORE-TEX membrane and the moisture-regulating BREATH lining also protect against the rain and wind. The heating technology in the gloves is based on sophisticated textile heating elements and unique control electronics, which are continuously tested and further developed. Thanks to the proven 3-stage heating technology, the HEAT models guarantee particularly easy handling: on the collar of the upper hand, the LED lamp in flame shape on the battery, which shines through the upper material, signals the respective heating level through the colors yellow, orange and red , This can be adjusted with a switch directly on the battery depending on the outside temperature and cold feeling - and that for several hours. With the supplied USB charger, the battery, which is available in white for the first time, recharges in the blink of an eye.       Good Quality Glove

      Use for skiing. Fit well and not bulky like many heated gloves, feels like a normal ski glove. Very good dexterity in the fingers and don't need to be broken in. Haven't used them on a cold ski day yet but tried indoors. On low it's a mild warmth, medium you feel warmth, high you definitely feel heat but according to directions you should only use high a few minutes at a time. I did a comparison test with LENZ 6.0 finger cap gloves. Both had a full charge, both set on medium, Both lasted about 6 hours indoors and the LENZ had the 1800 battery. I went with the Zaniers as I found them more comfortable and they were Gore Tex and LENZ wasn't. Also LENZ (with 1,800 battery) are much more expensive and I found them bulky, heat was about the same. You can buy a spare battery for aviators for about $120 a set and have them on medium all day on a cold say if you want, buying a spare LENZ battery if $200-$250.
