These are really nice socks for really cheap because they don't have a warranty. They worked great for 3 weeks, but now one of the socks won't turn on. Both battery packs are acting like they aren't connected to anything when plugged into one of the socks, so the wires in the sock probably broke. I even followed the instruction manual, I never washed them or scrubbed them. The instructions say to "spot clean only" which is kind of strange, how do you spot clean smelly socks?
I'll buy heated insoles next, they seem more durable.

i'm a backcountry skier and spend hours in cold weather. When i saw these open-box socks for half the price of a retail package i bought two! The boxes were clearly open, but the socks were like new. One box had the wrong batteries. I wrote an email, got return instructions for the batteries the next day, and a few days later had the correct batteries.
Like new socks, great service, and warm toes! What else could one want?

Worked good on the low setting. But the weather wasn't very cold. We will see how they do when it gets colder.
