Been taking the dog for hour walks with these in -10f weather here in Vermont, and my feet have stayed warm and comfortable the whole time walking through the snow. Getting a bit of chaffing on my shin from the cuff of the boot, but I don't think these are intended for long walks that I've been doing.
I did have to go a half size up since they are only in full size increments in order to accommodate anything other than super thin socks.
(I'm an 11.5, and tried an 11, which had my toes at the end; went with a 12 and now it's very cozy with just a little too much room, but it helps with circulation)
