I’m an ups guy in rural Maine. I walk a lot of icy drive ways and obviously need to work in the cold all day. I honestly have never had a more comfortable winter boot, while not being super heavy. I walk many miles a day. My feet stay dry, warm and the ice pick soles are expenentially better than anything you can strap on your boots. I walk with confidence on ice, and don’t get the sore knees like strap on cleats. Well worth the money!! No regrets!! True to size as well.
I don’t wear super heavy socks. Just a midweight merino wool. But I think I could go thicker. Also, the cable system for tightening is incredible!

the reason i purchased these boots is because last pair gave me awesome performance for 7 years of daily use in northern Wisconsin winters. The iceTrac studded rubber lug sole provided excellent traction on the snow and ice which is everywhere up here. Thanks

I ordered the boots they shipped quickly and arrived within a few days. They are a great boot hood quality. My only problem is I am a size 8 and the boots run big even with thick shocks the are just to big and loose. Unfortunately I am going to have to send them back. I’m thinking about ordering the same boots but in a women’s hopping I can maybe get a smaller size in women’s. Guess I’ll have to see how it goes. Just wish I knew they ran bigger.
