This oversized battery still kept her from enjoying things such as skiing or snowmobiling because she was afraid to fall onto the battery. Even wearing it in the car, on cold winter mornings, wasn't an option because the battery jabbed her in her back. please note I did not try the heating element but the coat is large and bulky around the waist. the waist measurements on the size chart vary hugely. I am not tiny at all but the waist is really big....seems like a man's coat. Also, no one was able to tell me the torso length which is not on the side chart. I am 5'5" and it was short.

I purchased the jacket for my wife as a Christmas present. Once it arrived she inadvertently saw me looking at it and I had to tell her it was part of her Christmas. I was explaining it was battery operated and heated! Oh wow! I need to try it on to be sure it fits, and the rest is history. I am now looking for another Christmas present because this marvelous jacket will never make it under the tree! It has been worn everyday since. Great product that works well. I have now ordered thee others for family members for Christmas. I will be sure they do not see them before Christmas day! RKF
