This oversized battery still kept her from enjoying things such as skiing or snowmobiling because she was afraid to fall onto the battery. Even wearing it in the car, on cold winter mornings, wasn't an option because the battery jabbed her in her back. I received this vest as a gift. Large size.
Pros:lightweight. Works well. Provides excellent heat for 8 hours (I haven’t tried it for longer period) it’s an attractive vest.
Cons: this item runs LARGE. If worn over many layers, I think it would still be large. I’m 6’, 200 lbs, and this large size worn over tshirt plus long sleeved shirt,…it’s enormous! Length is good, but volume would be right for 240lbs.
Directions: when they talk about “power button” understand that there is a “power button” on the battery and a “power button” on the vest itself (front left logo).
I am trying to return mine for a “medium”. If not possible, I’ll eat milkshakes all winter to fill it out 😉

Vest looks good, light weight and not bulky. Tried the heat and was surprised at the quick, intense warmth. The only thing left is to see how good battery life is. I suspect low or medium heat settings will be plenty; hoping for enough battery life to keep me comfortable in a tree stand for 4-5 hours.
