The wife is constantly cold and her husband, in an attempt to help her, bought her an over-priced heated jacket that came with a giant battery and even more enormous battery charger. This oversized battery still kept her from enjoying things such as skiing or snowmobiling because she was afraid to fall onto the battery. Even wearing it in the car, on cold winter mornings, wasn't an option because the battery jabbed her in her back. Had to contact GobiHeat directly in order to get any help with this jacket. They took it down from their store because they knew there was an issue with the battery not having the ability to heat all the coils in this particular jacket compared to their others. They are sending me upgraded batteries but with severely diminished run times. For the price, I'd pass on this. I recommend getting a Carthart and a heated vest or hoodie underneath it.
