Even wearing it in the car, on cold winter mornings, wasn't an option because the battery jabbed her in her back. Have owned and worn this jacket for 2 winters now and love it!! I am a railroad conductor in Southern Wyoming and the winters here are as cold and windy as you can get and this coat keeps me toasty and dry even without the heated portion in use for hours at a time. Most days I do not even need to turn it on. My only complaint is that you must use the provided battery and can't use just any portable power supply as the connector isn't a standard USB. Gonna finally order me a new one since I can no longer get my first one clean. Hightly recommend!!
