Batteries and chargers, including Gerbing rechargeable Lithium/NIMH battery packs and chargers, are covered by this warranty for 90 days from the date of purchase. Special care should be taken to prolong the life of your battery. It is important that you charge your battery regularly, and that you remain at least 25% of your battery power when not in use or left idle. Batteries must only be used with products with an amp rating less than the maximum capacity output rating for the battery.<BR><BR><B>What are your remedies under this warranty?</B> With respect to any defective product during the Warranty Period, we will, in our sole discretion, repair or replace such product (or the defective part) free of charge. In the event that the product or style warrantied is no longer available, a replacement style or credit may be offered for the original product value.<BR><BR><B>What must you do to keep the warranty in effect?</B> Our products are designed to be powered and controlled by using only Gerbing accessories and controllers. I bought the pants and jacket and gloves 15+ years ago and it has been a godsend. (Old style GLT5 model gloves) I have ridden in 17 degree weather and was completely warm going in to work. Actually had a polo shirt on with the jacket under a leather jacket. No issues at all. Only just under the chin of the helmet as I didn't wear a baclava. Finally the right glove has gone defective and will need to be repaired so will send them in. You get used to the bulky nature after a bit of working the clutch.

These gloves work. You can feel the heat on the palm, above your hand and down your fingers. I've only ridden in about 40 degree weather so far and my hands never felt cold or uncomfortable. I feel like I could go colder and still stay warm. The only thing I don't like about these is that you lose some dexterity but I didn't knock the rating because I think all heated gloves will be like that.

I got these after tolerating the Gen 1 gloves for several years. The Gen 1 worked perfectly and there was nothing wrong with them but the bulk made it difficult for me to get excited about putting them on. These new Vanguards allow for better manual dexterity by being less bulky. This is my first experience with the microwire and I'm quite impressed. I feel no wires at all. Another positive is how quickly they come to temp. My hands start to feel the warmth well before the jacket they're plugged into. That Jacket is old school too so I'm looking fwd to upgrading to microwire in that as well. I like the large gauntlet and the hard knuckles as well.
