Gerbing heated gloves use patented Microwire heat technology and made from lightweight, stretchable materials that help to improve dexterity and comfort during a wide range of activities. Finished with a water-resistant membrane, they repel water and keep your hands dry in adverse conditions. Small reinforcement layers are added to the fingertips for extra grip and added abrasion resistance. The index finger is equipped with a conductive material for ease of use with your smartphone or tablet without the hassle of removing your gloves.

The battery has 4 heat-settings as indicated by lights and Heat Times:
- 100% (4 red/blue lights) - 2 Hours
- 75% (3 red/blue lights) - 3 Hours
- 50% (2 red/blue lights) - 5 Hours
- 25% (1 red/blue lights) - 8 Hours
Charging Battery:
- We recommend charging overnight for the first charge.
- Charge 100% before use (a full charge takes about 3 hours).
- A red light will appear on the wall charger when charging.
- The red light will change to green when charged.
- Maintain at least 25% power when the battery is not in use. This practice will prolong the life of any 7V battery.
Each heated glove features an on-board temperature control button that regulates the temperature with three optimum heat levels. The 7.4V lithium battery is secured in a pocket on the top side of the gauntlet for increased freedom of motion during almost any outdoor activity.
Instructions for Silicone Switches:
- Step 1: Plugin a fully charged battery.
- Step 2: Switch will cycle through settings, this indicates the switch has power and can now be used.
- Step 3: To power on, push and hold down the button for 2-3 seconds until the switch illuminates.
- Step 4: To change the power setting, tap the button to cycle through levels.
- Low = Green
- Medium = Yellow
- High = Red
- Step 5: To power off, push and hold down the button until the light goes out.

My wife and I wore Gerbing jackets, gloves and socks for over 20 years and never let us down. We bought these battery operated gloves and was sad to see that they are made in China. Hope they work as well as our old Gerbings. I’ll update this review in a month or two.

Since they came so late in the season (after I tried for months to get heated gloves), I've only tried them once outdoors when it was in the 30"s. I tried them on the highest setting, just to see how warm they get, and by the time I was done shovelling (10 minutes or so), I was tempted to turn them down to a lower heat. What they will be like in subzero temps we get I don't know. The only thing I don't liie about them is it's awkward not having a shut off switch or switch position ont he gloves - to turn the heat off, you must detach the battery from the lead in each pocket. I wuill know more next winter. Another thing people should know is, you get very little instructions with them and are expected to keep the batteries charged at least 25% at all times, so I guess I'll have to check them monthly. Kind of a pain.
