Special care should be taken to prolong the life of your battery. It is important that you charge your battery regularly, and that you remain at least 25% of your battery power when not in use or left idle. Batteries must only be used with products with an amp rating less than the maximum capacity output rating for the battery.<BR><BR><B>What are your remedies under this warranty?</B> With respect to any defective product during the Warranty Period, we will, in our sole discretion, repair or replace such product (or the defective part) free of charge. My feet freeze when skiing and I’ve tried boot heaters and other heated socks. While they all have kept my toes warm, my heels feel like a block of ice. This sock is a game changer for me-my whole footbed stays warm and toasty! I can’t recommend them enough. I don’t need the highest setting even when the temp is in the single digits. If your whole foot gets cold, you need these socks!!

The reason for only 4 stars is because I have only had the opportunity to wear the socks one time which is not enough time to really give much feedback. The one day I wore them, they were great. Heated socks is a first for me so I am excited and looking forward to more cold weather in order to wear my new wool heated socks. I'm especially thrilled to have them for my upcoming snow skiing trip.

I am over the road trucker pulls tankers. I have to unload my load myself which takes anywhere from 2:00 to 4 hours. I unload in Carlin Nevada which is the north east side of Nevada and it gets cold. I have used the product once and it was about 13

I wear these for riding at 32F, and they definitely keep my toes warm. I notice the heels don't get as warm. Socks are thick, so, consider that with your specific footwear. Battery life is optimistic, but not that far off. Not sure that I can get 5hrs out of the medium setting, probably closer to 3.5-4. Switching back and forth between medium and hot I get about 3-4 hrs. The lowest setting isn't warm enough for me at 32F. If I were using these skiing, I might want an extra set of batteries. Lithium batteries lose a lot of juice in the cold, and I wear my socks on the outside of my tights. So, that's probably a factor in the battery life I'm seeing. Overall, size was accurate. I might look and see if Gerber makes a higher capacity battery.
