Gerbing heated gloves use patented Microwire heat technology and are made from lightweight, stretchable materials that help to improve dexterity and comfort during a wide range of activities. Finished with a water-resistant membrane, they repel water and keep your hands dry in adverse conditions. Small reinforcement layers are added to the fingertips for extra grip and added abrasion resistance. The index finger is equipped with conductive material to use your smartphone or tablet without the hassle of removing your gloves.

The battery has 4 heat settings as indicated by lights and Heat Times:
- 100% (4 red/blue lights) - 2 Hours
- 75% (3 red/blue lights) - 3 Hours
- 50% (2 red/blue lights) - 5 Hours
- 25% (1 red/blue lights) - 8 Hours
Charging Battery:
- We recommend charging overnight for the first charge.
- Charge 100% before use (a full charge takes about 3 hours).
- A red light will appear on the wall charger when charging.
- The red light will turn green when the device is charged.
- Maintain at least 25% power when the battery is not in use. This practice will prolong the life of any 7V battery.
Each heated glove features an on-board temperature control button that regulates the temperature with three optimum heat levels. The 7.4V lithium battery is secured in a pocket on the top of the gauntlet to allow greater freedom of movement during almost any outdoor activity.
Instructions for Silicone Switches:
- Step 1: Plug in a fully charged battery.
- Step 2: Switch will cycle through settings. This indicates the switch has power and can now be used.
- Step 3: To power on, push and hold down the button for 2-3 seconds until the switch illuminates.
- Step 4: To change the power setting, tap the button to cycle through levels.
- Low = Green
- Medium = Yellow
- High = Red
- Step 5: To power off, push and hold down the button until the light goes out.

I bought these gloves in 2021, I put them through their pace in 2 1/2 ski seasons of hard skiing. I ski 70 to 80 days a year, and I wore the Gerbing S7 gloves about 3/4 of the time.
I found the gloves easy to wear, easy to don and takeoff, and they warmed up rapidly. The battery lasts about three hours on yellow and a good five hours on Green. When I bought them, I realized the time limitation, so I bought another pair of batteries, which I keep in my ski suit and change the batteries halfway through the ski day regardless of how long they have been on. That way, I make sure that I have a good pair of gloves to last me through the ski day.
Days ago, the black insulation on the left-hand glove wires somehow retracted away from the connector, so plugging the glove to the battery was impossible. I have to say that the warranty service is flawless, and they were sent back for a free repair.
I could not be happier with these gloves.

For the price, I’m disappointed. On high, the battery life is less than an hour. Also, if you choose to order, I would recommend going one size up.
