If you have multiple items, i.e. pants liner and jacket liner as I do, this is a must. Very easy to control each independently. I also have the heated socks and heated gloves. The socks are connected to the pants liner and are both on the same knob/controller circuit. The gloves are connected to the jacket liner and controlled by the other knob/controller circuit. I find the heat level to be consistent, for example if the pants feel too warm, the socks feel too warm, etc. Same goes for the gloves/jacket. So the controller works and works well - highly recommend! Cannot say enough about how amazingly well the Gerbing gear works! I feel like I'm in a toasty warm bubble without a care in the world that it's cold or freezing out!

What can I say, pretty much like my old one, when placed in the holster, can’t see the #’s, but can see the red light to let u know it’s on, to where my old one had lights on top for easy viewing.
