The outer shell is flexible, windproof and durable. The added durable water repellent finish enhances the performance of the garment in wet conditions.
The multi-zone controller on the chest allows users to adapt to changing conditions by increasing or decreasing the heat level with the touch of a button across multiple zones including controlling the temperature of the built-in gloves.

*Smart Pre-Heat: Features a battery-saving "Smart Pre-Heat" mode----the pre-heat mode happens when initially turning the controller on. The LED is red, but will slowly flash red. The smart pre-heat occurs for the first five minutes and then automatically kicks to medium to save battery. You can bypass this level by simply pressing the button again.
