I wore the shirt on a very hot day on a hike with a lot of elevation gain, so gave it a good trial. I would recommend this shirt. I noticed that my back did not get as sweating and I did stay fairly cool during the hike. As gave it the sniff test after and the odorless material does work. I could wear the shirt again if I was helicoptered into a back country lodge and was limited by weight as to how much I could bring in.
