It took me a couple of uses to appreciate the value. I went to a rowing regatta in hot and humid Florida. The ice melted pretty fast. After a few uses, I realized that the ice melted because it was taking excess heat from my body.
I also appreciate the freedom of movement while wearing the vest. Absolutely no interference with my movement.
I will not workout or race in the heat without it.
