I was debating which jacket to get and on the sizing this winter. I am so glad I got this jacket! Even without the heating element it’s a great jacket against the wind and rain. I know others will laugh when I say California gets cold for me, seeing that some people go out in 0 degrees with snow. I got this jacket to walk my dog and work with the horses outside. It can get to about 35 degrees (f) with gusts in the 30s. The heating element makes it so much more bearable and it’s a very sturdy jacket. I often get jealous with my partner’s jackets because men’s jackets and clothes are always warmer, but this one is solid. I’m 5’9, 150 pounds, 33 inch waist. I got the large and can still manage to wear a sweater under and have a bit of room left to move around.

I bought this coat when I lived in Alaska. It is a nice coat and suited my purposes well. I do wish the heating was in the pockets too to keep my hands warm. But my biggest complaint is that the bottom hem of the coat isn't rounded as shown in the pictures, which is one of the reasons I bought it. It is just straight across.

I love this coat! My husband bought it for me because i get cold easily and we ice fish. Living in wi, this is perfect for me. Could have gone down s size but really nice. Warm, great length, good quality, nice shape on body, love it!!! Would highly recommend
