HOW TO USE:
- Power Up – Charge the provided ActionHeat 3.7V batteries.
- Plug-In – Connect the batteries to the cords located in the pocket on the top of the sock.
- Turn On – Press and hold the power button on the battery for 3 seconds.

The socks seem to work well if you have small feet. I wear a size 11.5 shoe so I bought the XXL size socks. They were so tight that they hurt my feet! Sending back for a refund

I was a little disappointed with these socks. They do work, so that is not the issue. First of all the advertising states that the batteries are interchangeable with a lot of other warming store items. They might be but they are not interchangeable with batteries for their gloves which I own. The advertising needs to be much clearer or else drop this claim. Secondly, I should have researched this better as the only way to turn these on/off/adjust the temperature is on the very top where you need to have access to the sock battery pocket (just below the knee). I bought these for hunting and I'm not sure I will be able to use them for that. You can't get to the controls once you have on long underwear and 2 pair of pants. I assumed these would be controllable from the side of the battery like their gloves. Third, they run a little small. I normally wear 8.5 shoes/socks. Technically I should have ordered the S/M which fits up to 8.5 according to the advertising. Fortunately, I ordered the L/XL but they are still a little tight. I don't think I can wear a 2nd pair of socks under these unless they are very thin.
So, I don't plan on returning these socks. But I also can't recommend them.

These socks are warm even without plugging in. Then when you do plug in they take the edge off the usual cold in my toes even at the low setting. I'll be using them on my soon to be trip to Alaska!
